"Stars of Brighton's cabaret circuit have launched a season of special one-off musical shows with a tongue-in-cheek take on some of the finest West End productions.

Starring Dave Lynn, Pat Cruise, Maisie Trollette, Miss Jason, Lady James, Connie Conway and, the only 'male' in the company, Jamie Watson.

Tonight was the turn of Chicago, the tale of murderess-cum-cabaret artists, Roxie Hart & Velma Kelly, to get the Ab Drag treatment. Showstopping songs included 'All That Jazz', 'Cell Block Tango', 'When You're Good To Mama' and 'Mr Cellaphane' hitting all the right notes along with song & dance routines thrown in throughout. Special mention must go to the fabulous rendition of The Press Conference Rag with Pat Cruise's ventriloquist to Maisie's dummy - pure genius. The dancing talents of Lady James and Connie Conway also did not go unnoticed!

The crowd's lapped it up and we're due a second helping very shortly (keep an eye on our listings) with both Grease and Oliver in the running. I can't wait"
