Cardiff Pride 2008 is going to be the biggest gay day out ever seen in Wales!
A new event - refreshed, renewed, re-energised, revitalised and
re-structured to mark the 10th lesbian and gay celebration in Wales’s
capital city.
Cardiff – perhaps better known to many people these days as the home of
Doctor Who, the Daleks, Cybermen, Torchwood, Captain Jack and Charlotte
Church is rapidly becoming a modern, diverse 21st century capital.
Like many cities there’s still a long way to go before prejudice is
eliminated, bullying eradicated and where gay men, lesbians, bi-sexual
and transgendered people can live normal every day ives without fear of
prejudice simply because of our sexuality.
Cardiff Pride is an expression of our solidarity and our united
strength both from within South Wales and from across the UK.
Joining us on September 6 – help us fly the gay flag in Wales.
